Box size & prices
Perry de Montaignac boxes can be purchased either when you have your dress cleaned or separately. If we clean your dress then it will be professionally boxed up by us as part of our service and we will ensure the box size is correct. (Please note, if you do not want an Acid-Free box, we will return your dress in a standard cardboard box which is not designed for storage).
We recommend the “Royal Ivory” design as it is simple, classic and elegant. However, we can certainly organise other designs if this is not to your taste.
Lay your dress out on a bed, fold the bodice over the skirt and tuck in the sides. Press down gently and measure the dimensions of the dress, taking particular care with the height if choosing between the Traditional and the Extra Large. For the Small you will need to fold the dress twice, once at thigh level and again above the waist.
Extra Large
Size: 76 x 50 x 31 cm (length x width x depth)
Price : £75
This is suitable for fully skirted dresses with multiple layers of petticoat and train. It comes with thirty sheets of acid free tissue paper.
Traditional
Size: 72 x 48 x 15 cm
Price : £56
This is suitable for the majority of wedding dresses – including those with long trains. It comes with twenty sheets of acid free tissue paper.
Small
Size: 49 x 34 x 12 cm
Price : £36
This is suitable for slender wedding dresses with no net petticoat, though they can have a small train. The dress will be folded twice to fit into this neat box. It comes with fifteen sheets of acid free tissue paper. This box is also suitable for bridesmaid dresses and christening gowns.
Postage & Packing
If you are just ordering a box (and not having your dress cleaned) there is a delivery charge of £8.
